Majestically seated amidst 14 acres of lush greenery in the serene Durham countryside, encircled by a tranquil nature reserve, this grand retreat offers an idyllic hideaway from the pressures of modern life.

Treat yourself and your loved ones to a luxurious stay, enjoy a captivating novel by crackling fireplaces, or delve into the unique dungeon featuring its very own self-service bar. With wrought iron gates and rooms spanning the entire castle footprint, the dungeon adds an exciting twist to any gathering.

Upon entering, be awestruck by the grandeur of the main entrance hall marked by an opulent, sweeping staircase, an absolute showstopper and perfect for fanciful entertaining. The formal dining room provides a splendid setting for self-catered dining, with elegant seating for up to 32 guests. The ground floor encompasses the Entrance Hall, Dining room, Living room, Lounge, and Gourmet Kitchen, offering spacious and luxurious accommodations.

Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in one of the 11 exquisitely decorated bedrooms spread over two floors, each adjoined by one of 12 pristine bathrooms, promising ample space for large groups. We provide high-quality bedding, linen, and towels to ensure your utmost comfort.

Step outside onto a sun-drenched patio, complete with ample seating and a BBQ suitable for large alfresco gatherings. For relaxation, a hot tub and sauna are available to soothe your senses. Enjoy the lush scenery from our magnificent glass palm room adorned at the front.
