There are no words to adequately express our most amazing time we have had in Scale House! GUARANTEED ONE IN A MILLION! From the help prior to our stay from Haley to John meeting us upon arrival to show us around and make us feel so at home. We could not have wished for a more magnificent mansion with all the amenities you could want and extremely relaxing and incredibly spacious! Thank you John and Haley for making it such a memorable holiday which will stay with us for a long time to come. We are sorry to leave!

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed.  The interior of the place is exceptionally luxurious and beautifuly decorated - the colours, decor and homliness is just so lovely.  We felt we stepped into another world with the gardens too.  The place had brilliant amenities; the hot tub was incredible and we enjoyed cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen.  A special shout out to John, our host who was thoughtful and so helpful to all our requests (even taking 45 minutes to show us around the house).  Our group of 19 had a wonderful time and would whole heartedly recommend.

Our stay at the manor was exceptional from start to finish.  The property is beautiful, full of character, and surrounded by peaceful scenery that is the perfect place to relax.  The atmosphere was calm and elegant making it an ideal getaway for anyone looking to unwind,  Every detail was thoughfully taken care of, and it truly felt like a memorable experience.  I woul highly recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future.

A beautiful house expensively furnished and well equipped, the gardens extensive and immaculate.  Hayley and John were there to greet us, very friendly hosts who did all they could to make us welcome and ensure our comfort.  We usually go to France for our group trip but this made a wonderful alternative and opened our eyes to the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales.  We all said we'd be back.

Absolutely beautiful house, couldn't recommend it more highly!  Well done out and maintained, everything was clean and tidy and the setting is stunning.  Hosts John and Haley were so kind and helpful - always at the end of a text and very quick to reply.  A super experience - in our group of 12 people, the only thing we were disappointed with was that we didn't stay longer.

Fantastic property for large groups, with loads of space for everyone.  The setting is stunning, and the only sounds you will hear come from nature.  Excellent location for spending time at the coast, with several destinations to choose from.

Excellent large group accommodation - plenty of nice bedrooms (most ensuite!) and very well equipped catering set-up. The garden was a big hit with the kids and the location made a nice change for us, never having stayed in this part of the world before. We had a good day at the lovely Anderby Creek beach, and enjoyed the arcades in Skegness too. Amanda and Carol are the perfect hosts - communicative and nothing too much trouble.

We hired Skendleby Hall for a family celebration and it was absolutely perfect. The house itself is beautiful, full of character and set in such peaceful surroundings. Having plenty of en-suite bedrooms made it really comfortable for everyone staying over. The views across the countryside were stunning and made the whole occasion feel extra special.

Skendleby Hall is an incredible place for a gathering. We used it for a small corporate event and it struck just the right balance between professional and relaxing. The setting in the Lincolnshire Wolds is breathtaking, and the property has everything you need for a memorable stay. It felt private, spacious and very well suited for groups looking for something unique.

Just had a weekend at the stunning model farm. From the thoughtful pre arrival correspondence to the warm welcome to the quiet little touches like adding more logs to the sauna, Dave's support adds to a beautiful and extremely well equiped Country House venue. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay with a large group

Great place to stay with a large group. The house and gardens were stunning and there were a variety of possible bed arrangements which worked well for our group. The hot tub, sauna and swimming pond were amazing and we really enjoyed making pizzas in the wood fired pizza oven.

We stayed at The Old Lakenham for my friend's 40th and it was amazing — beautiful house, very warm and inviting, with stunning grounds, an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and electric gates for peace of mind. The beds were comfy, towels were provided, and there were plenty of games for a fun-filled break. Would absolutely 100% recommend, and we're already looking to book again.
