The house is designed for entertaining! The impressive dining room comfortably seats 22 people and there are extra chairs and tables available if required so everyone can dine together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare and enjoy a fantastic meal, whether you choose to cook it yourself or bring in a professional chef.
This grand Grade II listed Country House is set amongst beautiful private grounds and can sleep up to 30 people. Wonderfully secluded and within easy reach of Bedford town centre, Milton House is ideally positioned for family holidays, weekends away with friends, as well as for relaxed get togethers and special occasions. Explore the grounds, relax by the fire or take a dip in the indoor swimming pool.

The large drawing room provides enough space for your whole group and is the perfect spot for everyone to get together. The doors open out onto the patio where you will find large barbeque area and plenty of seating on the patio. The conservatory also has doors out onto the patio and is a great place to sit and enjoy the scenic gardens. Leading on from the conservatory you will find an impressive heated indoor swimming pool and hot tub.There is also a cozy snug with a log burner which is furnished with a TV and comfy seating for when you want to put your feet up and enjoy some downtime and relaxation.
Milton House has ten fantastic bedrooms, six bathrooms and a downstairs loo. All bedding, linen and towels will be provided.
The games room has enough activities to keep everyone entertained with a snooker table, table tennis table, darts board and movie area. Outside there are wonderful gardens to explore, a tennis court and interconnected lakes which attract all kinds of wildlife.Being close to Twinwoods Adventure Park which offers indoor skydiving and surfing and Bedford town centre, there is plenty to do in the local area! Bedford has a wonderful river to walk along as well as many great pubs, restaurants and shops.
Bedford train station is on a direct line to London Bridge and Kings Cross St Pancras. With great links to the M1 and A1 and plenty of parking, getting to Milton House is a breeze.

We had the most incredible experience at Milton House, it’s even more impressive than the photos. Really well set up for a big group to dine and it’s warm and cosy throughout.
Our stay at Milton house was absolutely outstanding. As you can see from the photographs the property looks amazing but it still doesn’t do it justice, we were blown away on arrival, the grounds and house are beautiful and enormous. Our party of 25 stayed for the weekend and didn’t leave once, there was everything we needed there for the weekend and everyone had an excellent time. We would defiantly stay again. Martin was a great host and was prompt with any queries.
